To Know Us Is To Love Us! Meet Our Staff!

Founder Tina Rear has a vision and wants to share her creative outlet with others, one community at a time.  Having experience working with children and seniors, Tina created SCRAP U, a company designed to teach card making, scrapbooking and other creative paper crafting to anyone who is interested!

Tina has been a Somerset County resident for the past 17 years and has always been an active member of her community. Tina has volunteered at many community organizations including Hillsborough's Cultural Arts Commission, the Organization for Autism Research (OAR), and the local travel Soccer Club. In addition, Tina  has past 10 years in the classrooms and coordinating family events & fundraisers throughout her local schools.

In 2008, Tina founded a non-profit organization, Care to Share Support Network that worked with families of children with special needs throughout Somerset County.  During the lifespan of the charity, Tina was recognized for her work and received proclamations from Hillsborough Township, the Magic 98.3 award for “Women Who Make Magic” and Somerset Counties "Women of the Year" for Volunteerism.

For four years, Tina was hired by Hillsborough's Amsterdam Elementary School to teach scrapbooking during their six week enrichment program. “Being creative is my passion, I love to watch students grasp new concepts and apply them to their scrapping. The kids are excited to share their masterpieces and week after week,  I am amazed at how talented and expressive kids can be, when provided opportunities they may not have had on their own”.

Tina is a “soccer mom” to her son Kyle and a travel companion to her daughter, Katie with whom she has explored a new state every year. Dave, her husband of 14 years, owns a medical education agency.
