Scrap U & Artistry Too offers art-themed ‘School's Out Art Camp’ for children age 8-14 (kids are broken into age groups) during throughout the year when school is closed for holiday breaks, and more.
Our School's Out Art Camp schedule aligns with most public local schools. Our Art Camp is packed with fun! Campers spend the day working on a variety of art projects, including painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, scrapbooking, and more! It is our commitment to keep your children safe and to provide a nurturing environment where creativity and kindness are our priority. Our studio becomes their studio, where students are able to have the freedom to explore and express themselves, kick off their shoes, and just be a kid! Whether your new to our Art Camp or a regular at Scrap U, you will fast become a part of the family, make new friends and CREATE new memories. Camp FeesFull Day $85/day - 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
LUNCH OPTION (Typically offered on Mon. Wed. & Fri.) Lunch from Joe's Pizzeria. 2 slices and a water bottle $11 daily AFTER CARE - Must be purchased in advance and is based on availability. Hours are 3:00 - 6:00 pm, $15 per hour. RegistrationPolicies

General InformationWe typically take a break from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm for lunch. You have the option to bring your own healthy lunch or purchase pizza on Mondays, Wednesdays and/or Fridays. WE ARE A NUT FREE FACILITY, so PLEASE double check snacks and lunches to ensure there is nothing with any nuts.
The water in the studio is not suitable for drinking so please bring plenty of water. Water bottles can be purchased for $1 at camp. Snack time is "camper's choice" therefore pack snacks according to your child's eating schedule. Please make sure the snacks are healthy, easy to eat and are not overly messy. Please do not send soda or candy to camp. NO NUTS.
During a typical day or week at camp, your child will learn about and explore a variety of art mediums and materials from our experienced staff of Teaching Artists, such as:
10:30 am: Morning Project 2 – Clay Creations 12:00 – 1:00 pm: Lunch and recess ( journaling, free time) *Sometimes go outside to the grassy area behind the building. 1:00 pm: Afternoon Project 1 –3-D Paper Sculpture 1:30 pm: Afternoon Project 2 – Landscape Painting Project 2:30 pm: Afternoon Project 3 – Sharpie and Colored Pencil Graffiti Art project/ Zen Doodling 3:00 pm: Dismissal! Kids can't wait for the next visit! |
